Hey guys! Welcome to my fourth blog. This week was packed with activities, and when I say packed, I mean fully LOADED. Almost every single day had an activity in it that was filled with fun and excitement.
Last monday, our section, Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, went on a tour to the Main Campus of St. Michael’s College. The teachers assigned to give us the tour showed us the facilities of St. Michael’s College that are not only well made, but also well thought out.
Tuesday was basically a regular school day. Everything that happened was pretty regular, nothing out of the ordinary. Meh
Wednesday was the start of our basic life support training. We were taught how to do bandaging and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Bandaging was pretty difficult because we had to memorize and perform every form of bandaging that was taught to us. But the really fun part was the CPR training. This was because of the music that was played while we performed CPR on our partners. Could you imagine performing chest compressions while listening to Baby Shark? Well for us, it was not our imagination. It was a reality for us at that time. A funny yet difficult situation indeed.
Thursday was the continuation of our basic life support training. This day was extremely fun. We were taught how to perform the different forms of carrying an injured person. The thing that made this fun was the demonstration part. Me and my partner probably weighed the same. This meant that we were going to have to carry someone around our body weight every time we perform a carry. Let’s just say that there was a lot of falling and failed attempts at carrying one another. To end our basic life support training, we had to search for injured patients and carry them to an imaginary ambulance. Let me just say that the injuries of the patients looked EXTREMELY realistic. I don’t know who did the special effects makeup but boy did they do a great job.
Friday was also a very fun day. We had our aquatics class. Let me just say that this class allowed me to learn how to swim. I used to be that person who sits by the pool and pretend to be having fun. Now I can finally say that next time I go to the beach or to the pool, I WILL be swimming. I may not be that good at swimming yet, but atleast I can kinda know how to do it now.

If you want something to happen you have to figure out how to make it happen. You should always remember that there are no easy ways to do something you’ve gotta earn it.

You should do something that you want to do, not what others want you to do. For you to be able to live your life to the fullest you have to learn to listen to your self.

Thank you for reading the blog of the week. So that basically wraps up everything for this week. Stay tune for more exciting weekly blog. I hope that you’ll have a wonderful day!
